today was a cool day :) in other words, today was good. it started off well. i didnt do 1 question off my history wb cuz i didnt know how to do it and 2 pages of the same hist. wb because i didnt go to sch last monday. and at the snap of the finger, someone OFFERED their hist. wb :) how good is tt? thank god! (and that person had damn neat handwriting)
then came science class. it was bio and it was a "science in the lab" period. then bout 3/4 of the class didnt bring the correct science wb, so they were "scared" to go up. then some people havent finish their hist. wb hw, so they wanted to stay in class and finish it. so in the ned everyone didnt go for science. i couldnt help feeling sorry for the bio tchr. then suddenly she came down. she said she was in a meeting and came to take us up!!! LOL!!!
then we follwoed her to the lab. budden some ppl in front followed the wrong class, so we ended up going to the wrong floor not noeing which floor to go (we were on the 5th floor). so we went from 5th to 4th, from 4th to 6th, from 6th to 7th then from 7th to 5th again... and it was on the 5th floor...
then aft science had eng.
then had recess.
then had hist.
then had lit.
then went on mrt. train was very very empty! which is good. changing train to cit hall, there was this really cute toddler. then i was reading "school at the chalet" on the train. then the toddler was so cute! he smiled at me :) then went on to take train opposite. school at the chalet is a ncie book. but then the auother uses some french and german inside so i dont understand. i think they should put footnotes explaning the meanings in english.
then at about the khatib-yishun area, this boy also abt 13 came in and kept staring at me. so freaky!!! so i looked at him back but he still keep staring... lol... so i ignored and he looked away. then when i went out at admiralty, he returned to his staring... LOL
then went out and met eleanor. dined w her at macdonalds. she told me her long term crush in admiralty. i found it quite hard to believe... shant'd tell you

its raining
its raining and thats so damn sad. today is easter (: and thats so dman happy. but i dont feel today is an over the top day ):
the day started well. watched spongebob (: and had fun. then went to church. sat with the youth. met this nice guy who offered me a mentos fruit. haha. then sat with dennis, timothy and that nice guy. nigel was no where in sight.
then after service, nigel came into sight. then we 3 talked about the chruch camp roommating. dennis said he wasnt confirmed he was going... hiax. this years church camp is gonna be fun (: for moi region its at subang kl, malaysia ;) very near sunway.
then remembered i had to collect funds for my bb week, tho its now bb month. collected 195sgd so far. thats quite alot. my company target was 160sgd. i hope i can make it to 250sgd by the end but think cannot...
then went out to have lunch.
then went to popular to buy color paper for noticeboard
then went to cut hair. then the barber so bad sia. he took dman long to cut my hair!!! so angry.

13th
the day started well. i went to church to watch some play bout jesus. but then was feeling sick. left behind virus. so bout 20% of the entire service i slept LOL. then manage to find a roommate for church camp ;) visit his blog. its nigel.
then mingled around with church people then proceeded to some hawker centre opposite jervois special school. somewhere near gr8 world city. then proceeded to swissotel merchant court for high tea. it was nice lah. especially with the fried ice cream and ckaes... and that tempura! omg, i feel like eating all those again...
went with 3 familes from church. then there was a blank and dark reception area.
then there were few tables. then the tables had tableclothes, so u couldnt see what was underneath. so me and friends CLIMBED UNDER the tables and pretended that was our house... lol. on my 13th bdae, i felt i was a kid again.
then came home and watched tv, haven eaten since.
now watching i do i do. was supposed to only check updates for tmr's bb parade. but after visiting my blog and realising i had neglected it for *gasps* 5 days, i decieded to post ;)

i am back from camp and sick. how lucky can you get? hiax. think i caiught it from friend christopher, plus that 13hour hike, my metabolism rate had wore down. this was the 13 hr hike route:
on bike:
from victoria school (siglap) to bedok mrt (on bus: 15min).
from bedok mrt to eunos mrt (first checkpoint)
from eunos mrt to aljunied mrt (second checkpoint)
from aljunied mrt (decided to skip all checkpoints and go straight to rest stop) to bugis mrt

so on bike, i traveled from east to south to southwest

this will be the final post i will be writing before saturday. in a few minutes time, i will be camping in vs with bb 2nd coy :). life is like so unpredictable. i am wondering what will i be doing at camp??? life... life... life...
anyway, tuesday was fun :) was like watching the movie. howls moving castle is a nice show. no wonder straits times gave them 4 stars :). and the show was like had a good storyline. hayao miyazaki is a very good director...
then went down in front of kfc to talk. then headed to mos burger. ms ong bot us fries and nuggets.
then went to window shop w caleb and fatin. actually wanted to buy a hp cover for my mp3 but none were suitable :( then went to pop and saw the galx. they said wanted to take neoprints but then queue was long. so they came back empty handed. then went back with them to check, the queue had lessen already
so went to take neo, relieved tt there were guys in the shop ( :
then went home.
yup, on sat be prepared for MORE!!! hear wad was AT THE CAMP!!!!

today is bb sunday, also known to 2nd company (victoria school) and 60th company (raffles institution) as BB Enrollment Day. on your company's enrollment day. you go to your company's church and get dedicated and enrolled. its quite cool :)
TRADITIONAL methodist are very different from us charismatics (also known as pentecostals). they are very tracitional which xplains the word in front. they sing hymms and stuff. its kinda like the churches you see on television. its the first time i am experiencing this. the church is KKMC also known as Kampong Kapor Methodist Church.

i think i am going mad very soon. things are revolving as fast as a rovolver...lol... today went for bb parade. it was at kampong kampor methodist church. its probably one of the most old fashion churches i have ever seen. its still in super good condition but its like a catholic church. if no one told me the name of the church, i would have tot it was a catholic chapel. it METHODIST!!!
then had the rehearsal to tmr's enrollment day. 60th coy boys will be there. their the rafflesians. my cousin, whos a primer for 60th coy is also going...

just found out vs was one of the top 11 schools this o level... how cool is tt? just hope can perform up to standards when my turn comes... hiax...
had maths and cme as first period today. my maths and cme teacher is my form tchr. but teacher spent the entire 4 periods explaining to us abt how the o level system works, gave us our progress reports etc. found out that vs was one of the top 11 schs in this year's o levels....
then had recess, which i spent in class trying to get some hol hw done.
then lit. my fun lit tchr was in hebei, china doind a boarding excahnge program. it is no wonder why the sch chose him :) used the time doing hol hw again.
then hmt. did another sickening zuo wen...
went to class to collect the prog reports (at the start of the day, they weren't signed by princ., now they were)
then spent more than 1.25hrs getting home. which is pathetic and retarded cuz i usually take tt time....
SLY AND MAIA ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!!!! said so in the stratis times today.

life is sweet, FOR THE MOMENT. at least it is sweet once in a while :) . i wish life were always sweet. sometimes (esp times during the test) life sux. lol. get what i mean? if you don't forget it. sorry, i didnt update my blog for like quite some time... i noe its bad but... so below is what you will see a pretty long post :)

today was quite good. had bio in the morning. the yeacher (ms ismail) was like a super broing teacher. she's probably in her late sixtys.
wonder why she's miss when someone told me she had son? the exciting side: she's a single mother. the boring side: she wants to be like MS sarina, wanting to be younger than she officially is. i mean like if you are ms lim (lin lao shi) from the adp speech drama club, its ok. you are bout 30 and you're married but you still wanna keep that younger image...
so back to lessons. it was extremely broing, wonder how gonna take bio mid year. then had mother tongue. my mt teacher had gone to malaysia to camp with the sec3s. its quite cool :). in vic, you get to go camp 2* in 4 years. thats the COHORT camp. that is the whole cohort goes w you. but theres still the cca camps. in fact, i am going to camp in vic on the last 3 days of march vacations :)
then had a relief teacher. he came in, distributed chinese papers, then said he had another lesson somewhere else and went away. I GOT 80% FOR MY CHINESE PAPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (thats an A1 btw). and i was happy like mad. but the highest score however, was 100%...lol...
then we did our zuo ye. (i copied) then suddenly i saw a guy throwing a table!!!!! then another guy was like wanting to fight with him... the situation was really TENSE. then i found out wad happened:
this guy (GUY A) wanted to see another guy (GUY B)'s results for the test. then GUY B dont wanna show. then GUY A shoot a rubber band at guy b. then guy b very angry (here comes the shocking part) and TORE guy a's paper into 2! directly half!!!!!!! then guy a (another shocking part) kicked guy b's private!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then guy b kicked him back. then guy b threw the table, luckily guy a dodge. thats when i noticed... lol...
so their ok now... but guy b has some testicular damage and guy a has some testpapercular damage...lol...
then had art, (aep) went up to sky bridge on the 7th floor to draw some "scenery". then mr liong praised me, and said i could draw str8 lines very well...lol... so art was fun... lololol...
then had music...
then went home...
on the way home on the mrt, i went (the first time) online with my phone. went to nokia.com and downloaded some free games. one real fun one was survivor. as in really playing the survivor game on your phone. its really cool... but haix, dunno how much my phone bill will jack up this month? hiax...

on the way home on the mrt, i went (the first time) online with my phone. went to nokia.com and downloaded some free games. one real fun one was survivor. as in really playing the survivor game on your phone. its really cool... but haix, dunno how much my phone bill will jack up this month? hiax...
then surfed the net, amd finally made it to where i am now :)

had bio in the morning (like today, dunno why they always like science in the morns) and had like the same boring stuff... but today was more interesting cuz it was hist cum bio by a bio tchr :)
then had lit. my lit tchr mr xiao totally rox! he is like real cool! he shows us cool stuff like cool advertisments and cool goal scorings and stuff. i dun like soccer but try to like the goal clips and stuff.
then had english. wrote and received an essay. the one i wrote was on fantasy stories. i invented an imaginary land : BNL. BNL sounds sci-fi but its NOT. lol. BNL stands for Beef Noodle Land. lol. The land where beef noodles rule! and yar, maybe i'll type it out here if i got time when i recieve it back :)

i thought i could have a good break, but it turns out not... tomorrow there will be bb parade. it sux but it didnt use to because tomorrow's parade is 0745 instead of the usual 0900. and there is pt- physical training, tt is. i dont think i'll enjoy pt very much, tmr willl be the first time i'll be doing pt.
i guess this (to me) is a "curse" all uniformed groups have to (to me) "endure". uniformed group ppl, are u in the same plight? i finished all my tests. which rox. and it turned out that today's chinese test wasn't that difficult after all. i hope i can at least get a 20 out of 25. heehee

life has probably been a complete mix up for me this 2 months. i am probably on the north and south pole at once. facing ups and downs. i am absolutely busy. having little time to do the things i love. life is topsy turvy- at least for now.
life in victoria is really cool. but not over the top. life in victoria, although nothing compared to admiralty (yet, it should be at the same standard by sec 3 and stay there forever) is wonderful. i have cool friends. but i am missing the girls. i mean as not in pervertically but as in in friendship. i used to hang out w charissa etc. but now its totally different. maybe i should have gone with joe to tkss...
my teachers are ok, except for some which are really nice (ms ong is infinite really nice). my art teacher, mr ong is probabaly my favourite teacher till now. wonder how u guys are doing. my cca- in case you don't know what it is- is the Boys Brigade. i am in the 2nd singapore company, which makes bb in victoria school 2nd oldest in singapore. i have absolutely wonderful seniors there- both from sec 2, 3, 4 and jc 1.
i am also in the vsmedia club, which publishes the vs school journal (admiralty's pupils companion) the victoriana (vs bi yearly magazine) and lots of other stuff. its like the art and photography club. i haven't made any contributions (yet).
in case you don't know, i have been chosen as assistant class monitor. i am quite suprised because i think there are other people in my class that have better leadership qualities then me. anyway, i'll just do my best and god will do the rest.
and for you guys, VS stands for Victoria School and not Victoria Secondary or anything else, i notice people tend to go wrong with that, but it can't be helped.
today was a bad day. sigh, i woke up then went to school. was told to collect the edge ocket money fund. (the vsmc [vs monitor's council] and vspb [vs prefectorial board have conbined to do a project on Laos. To help the poor people there) So i was collecting the money [its the monitor's job but he collected last month's] then one guy put in $4. then another guy, to beat the first guy, put $4.05. then they started puting in more money and i had the priviledge of changing the amount, corection taping the amouunt and wrting another one down doing it over and over and over again. and each time they were like adding 10/5c at a time. i was so fed up.
and then during chinese class i didnt do my zuo ye and newspaper cutting report. which sux. and yes, if you failed your chinese, you're not the only one. so my niche sub is now english which i have been getting a1s in so far. my maths results are still pending. i am so mixed up. i can't keep track of what tests are coming up etc. so i am sort of going with the flow. hiax, life...

Big Fat Smiler is a senseless pseudonym for a Secondary school boy who thinks too highly of himself. He longs to see the world and see culture and clearly isn't prepared for it because he is only fifteen. Although so, he lives his life daily focused on attaining that dream- to be able to see, appreciate and love the various cultures of the world.
Meanwhile, his training includes Saturday shootouts with his beloved photography buds at various prominent locations in Singapore where he resides. Although some of them (one actually) do not enjoy these go down and dirty shootings, he makes them do so anyway.
If you think someone hacked into the BFS' blog, no, no one has done it. It is the BFS writing in third person and being truthful to himself and his blogders.
He also loves commenting on the things he sees and experiences in the nuances of daily life- especially the suburban environment he lives in. This is despite his love for all things packed and crazy.
Like being on the train in the rush hour while purposely reading his new novel therefore annoying everybody else because he is enjoying himself in the book world while all the other boring commuters are just but staring into space sulking that they have to take the kinda sucky public transport.
Or sipping a cup of Starbucks at Liat Towers by the window or al fresco and watching the whole world walk pass and soaking the Orchard Road atmosphere down that familiar red tiled road.
He hates it when people tell him one thing and does another or when people start to get irritating (although he gets irritating sometimes but because he's so cool nobody gives a damn- okay that was nonsense). Actually he shouldn't even be talking about what he hates because that's just purely bimbotic looking on blogs.
His favorite cuppa is a Caffe Mocha although he is usually adventurous at Starbucks ordering most of the weirdish stuff except really bitter kinds like espresso and all that old-uncle coffee. Christmas blends usually entice him.
He also enjoys his artistic lifestyle which includes Photography. He uses a Konica Minolta DiMage XG for Point and Shoot situations and a Canon 400D with Kit Lens (because he's too poor and amateurish to get anything better) to shoot. He also inherited a Nikon F3 from his father who's lenses are now so filled with mould that it can't shoot anymore.
This is himself on his last photoshoot at Little India having fun being avant garde and taking bimbo shots with a SLR from a lorry's mirror while showing completely retarded facial expressions. He considers it a good exercise for his facial muscles.
He has this weird tendency to name his gadgets: his MacBook is called Gene, his 400D called Carly, his guitar affectionately Izzie, and his (poor) iPod (disgustingly) named Big Fat Smiles after his blog.
You can actually close this profile now because it's pretty boring but he's gonna continue it anyway and won't be offended if you press that bright red "X" button.
He is also an avid graphic illustrator who's works had greatly declined due to lack of practice. His latest actually successful project is the standard image design for the 7th RG Peer Support Convention 2007. He considers it quite an honor.
He uses Mac OS X for all his online and offline computeral activities and thinks Windows is just a blardy copycat. He sets great sights on the future of Linux and it's OpenSource concept and just might convert one day.
He studies in Victoria School and thinks it's the finest all-boys institution in Singapore (aka being highly subjective). He will definitely pressure his son to enter that school although he will give his son a choice to whichever school he wishes to attend. He enjoys the Victorian Spirit a lot (which he labels as "Victorianism" on his blog) and is a student leader in the school.
He's faith is in Jesus Christ and has stumbled a lot. Although so Jesus himself has picked him up every time and the BFS has fallen into the feathers of his eagle- being comforted and loved every time. He hopes to be a better follower.
