A social commentary.

Friday- the last day of the week.

Today was quite a nice day. There were many nice happenings.

Met Stella and Li Jia at Admiralty Station by chance. Talked.

This must be my most lame and retarded post.

Life is Vulnerable

Life is so damn vulnerable. Just heard yesterday that my cousins friend who toured L.A. with him jumped down from a building. And he [my cousin] is so damn sad now. Wonder how I'll react if someone damn close to me died- natural or unnatural. I guess I'll be damn hurt till I would be crying during every single lesson in school.

Finished watching The Way Home today. Its the movie that Ms Ong showed us in 2003 or 2004. Forgot. Remember the grandma and grandson? Sigh. I miss my grandma. And it has been 8 years since her death. Wonder what my life would be like if she were still around. Apparently there are lucky people like Literature teacher Mr Siow that still had his grandma till JC.

Today was a terrific day. Had Art- one of thy most enjoyable subjects in my Victorian History. Watched First Moms, Chase and Joey. Joey is funny but a bad influence. Doubt I will watch it again. My 2 favourite commedies are still Still Standing and What I Like About You. People acting in it are Renee Olstead [one of the leading jazz singers] and Amanda Byndes [you should know who she is].

Finished the Growing Pains of Adrian Mole today. Do you want it Josiah? Please reply. Want to read Adrian Mole: The Cappuccino Years but I know there are some books in between. Don't know whether to buy them and read first or read Cappuccino first. Sigh.

Please vote at the Class Website for your destination of choice for the CG. Its either at

The Life

I would hereby like to wish Persis best of luck for her SYF Judging tomorrow. Hopefully winning with Gold wiht Honours ;)

Harhar... Am almost done with The Growing Pains Of Adrian Mole. If you think Aged 13 3/4s is sick, Growing Pains is perversly sick- but funny.

That is Sue Townsend. A person with magical powers for she has the ability to interpret a boy so well that I would have thought that the author was a boy himself.

I am currently writing a book, but publishing it in blog form. I will not give you the URL until i finish the 5th chapter. The title of the bookblog is Confessions Of A PSLE Graduate. I have written only until the Introduction. LOL.

Alas, again, I have not been in the blog of the week. This is beggining to be a habit. For non-Digital Life readers, you can read my blog to find out the blog of the week. Isn't that cool?

Blogging is a very cool thing. I lets other people find out about your day- if you want them to. Sigh. Aimlessly going. School is a routine. It is boring. Sigh. I miss BB. I want to attend parades. I want to do JEP again. I want to go back to the day where we had our primary graduation.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Sigh. Such a memorable photograph. Wouldn't it be nice if I could invent a time machine and go back to that wonderful experience? And when I was done with that experience I would go back again and experience it again. And again? And again? And again? And after I get bored experiencing it so many times, I'll zoom into yet a different wonderful experience... the JEP...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Sigh. The wonderful time we had with the bean machine. Wow, and the beans came spilling out of the box. At the end of business, the room was filled with beans! Woohoo. Then when I came home to wash my shoe, I found a bean stuck on the underside too. Sigh, such beautiful memories...

And during the Graduation... Say Goodbye... The song we sang together. The song some of us hated Ms Ong for. The song that represented us.

In the years to come
Will you think about these moments that we shared?
In the years to come
Are you gonna think it over
And how we lived each day with no regret

Nothing lasts forever though you want it to
The road ahead holds different dreams for me and you

Sometimes goodbye
though it hurts in your heart
is the only way for destiny
sometimes goodbye
though it hurts is the only way now
for you and me
Though its the hardest thing to say
I'll miss your love in every way
So say goodbye
Oh don't you cry
cause true love never dies

In a year from now
Maybe there'll be things
We'll wish we'd never said
In a year from no-ow
Maybe we see eachother,
standing on the same street corner,
no regrets

Each and every end is always
written in the stars
If only I could stop the world
I'd make this last

Sometimes goodbye
though it hurts in your heart
is the only way for destiny
sometimes goodbye
though it hurts is the only way now
for you and me
Though its the hardest thing to say
I'll miss your love in every way
So say goodbye
but don't you cry
cause true love never dies

And when you need my arms to run into
I'll come for you
Nothing will ever change the way I feel

Sometimes goodbye
though it hurts in your heart
is the only way for destiny
sometimes goodbye
though it hurts is the only way now
for you and me
Though its the hardest thing to say
I'll miss your love in every way

So say goodbye
but don't you cry
cause true love never dies

Lubber

Life today was... okay? Sigh. Ms Ong canceled the helping out thingy, so didn't go back to my mother school. Sigh. Today was Lubber day. Actually there were other days I was more of a lubber than today.

Almost got hit by a bicycle. Hope if I got hit, the insurance will cover. Can't believe I am joking about this kind of things... Edge was great today. But the band didn't play In The Secret. Iyts not like they are suppose to sing In The Secret or anything like that. Its just that JH sent me the song and alas, I am addicted. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. I am addicted to everything.

Tried to put behind these hazel eyes on the bloggie. But the music hosting service didn't accpet WMA files. Then tried to convert it, but it was under copyright, so couldn't convert. Then in the end couldn't upload it. Sigh.

Sigh.

Life in Victoria

Sometimes I really believe Metamorphosis really exist in between out lives, sometimes no. Why yes? Why no? Well, for 3 years, I faced no much Metamorphosis.

Primary One to Primary Two, total change of friends. I am quite suprised as I look back at that year and realize I didn't really feel sad and all that about leaving my one-good-year friends. Maybe its that innocense- that immaturity that some people as adults strive to achieve, but not.

Then from Primary Two to Three, I changed my group of friends again. (Friends here are classmates) I dropped from the best class to the 2nd best class. Had fun anyway.

Then in Primary Four switched back to smae group of friends from Primary Two. Scored real hugh and went to the best class. And from then on, no more Metamorphosis. Probably that was the time I wasn't training my adaptation skills.

So when it was time to move on from being Admiraltirian? to Victorian. I wasn't prepared. In fact, life was devastating. The sadness and stuff was at its peak iduring the Secondary One Orientation Camp. Read it more it Victoriana. But the teachers might edit it too much, so heres the "original" version which I single-handedly typed:

A child always has changing ambitions. I remember always wanting to be a teacher, then a doctor, then a newscaster. As for secondary schools, it’s the same. I have always changed what schools have I wanted to go to when I reach 13.

At that time, I didn’t really mean what I said. I just said it so I could tell adults something when they asked me what school I wanted to go to. As I am staying in the North, I didn’t really hear about Victoria School. I only heard of it when I went to my Primary Four Camp.

The Camp Instructors were Victorians. They are now 18 years, and I don’t really know any of them, but I remember them as strong, fine, responsible teenagers- what I wanted to be. So when I was about to go up the rope course, a camp instructor asked me “What school do you want to go to?”, and I would shout out loudly “Victoria!” and here I am now.

I was nervous when I entered Victoria. I was practically trembling went I came in. It was a whole new place, new friends, teachers, environment, and most importantly- A new School. None of my from my old school friends accompanied me. I was alone.

Suddenly, I felt I had made the wrong decision. I would have never felt that way if one friend from my primary school had followed me. For the first few days, I dreaded coming to school, but I didn’t show it. I missed all my old school friends. I felt I was weird. Because it seemed like I was the only one like that. My mom told me that that would change.

But slowly, that changed. I liked my new circle. I liked my seniors. I liked my teachers, I liked my friends. Everybody seemed friendly and nice. That is probably what you call settling in. And I like settling in.

I joined the Boy’s Brigade and the Media Club, which explains why I am writing this. I enjoy my CCA sessions and everything is fun. I am lead to believe that Victoria is a very all-rounded school- excelling in sports, culturally and in our Uniformed Groups.

The Cross Country Championships at Turf City was a very good experience. Cheering for our own Cross Country team- out loud. Everyone was shouting, everyone was happy, singing, celebrating our glory in the slight drizzle. The Victorian spirit was high. Singing “VS Boleh” over and over again, not forgetting “VS Unite”, I really got that “sense of belonging”.

Today, I can go around telling everybody confidently and undauntedly “I’m a Victorian.”

Yup yup, that was the article that I wrote. I don't know if anyone else felt that way too. But I felt horrible. I was homesick, I missed my old friends. Sigh.

But that slowly changed. Another Metamorphosis slowly emerged. Now, I am 100% comtable with my friends. I don't even have enemies lol. And my seniors are wonderful people ;). If you guys are reading this, and you think it's yourself, then its you.

And I still keep in contact with my primary school friends. Sigh. Life is unexpectful. You never know where the road will lead you.

Today was a wonderful day. Got to know one more Victorian Blog :)- Jian Han's.

Had sports day today. My house lost. The last of all 5 houses. Kallang rules still anyway. I like my house. Then things were real fun larh. Sigh. What do you expect at a sports day? Then met Jian Han. LOL. SMSed each other though we were sitting beside each other. And Josiah said we were pervert. LOL.

Then on the way back, missed the train. Almost made it. LOL. I was trying to open the door! Sigh...

The World is Round

I have not updated my blog for two days. It is official that I have lost the Blogging Addiction. Sigh. I do like the blogging addiction. But one must not try to get the BA as it will come naturally. When my next BA will be? I do not know.

Alas, my blog was not featured on Blog Of the Week on Digital Life. LOL. It never will- I guess. You can find this week's Blog of the Week over here visited the site but didn't read it yet. Too much, her posts are lengthy. Its about a lady who eloped with her boyfriend and has to cope with her marriage without her mothers, sisters (labourers, lol) to help her dress makeup etc. So its kinda like a (it actually is) Wedding Blog.

Ms Ong and Mr Yap sms-ed today. Mr Yap for Jian Kai's HP number and Ms Ong asking for help in decorating her classroom. I have lots of in-quite-good-condition books inculding a lot of Enid Blyton's (that's what 7-year-olds should read, right?) and some books that are real cool etc.
Finished the Apologist! :) Currently reading Howl's Moving Castle (the book, you can't read a movie you know) its very witch-crafty... LOL. But its nice anyway. Quite guilty. The book contains more details then the movie, so as I read, I can remember and visulize the scenes.

Had the famous VS Indian Rojak for lunch! Yay!

sunday

I have changed the skin. Again. The other one in terms of layout was quite sucky. Think I am going to stay with this for quite a time :)

Anyway, yesterday was wonderful. Bought 4 books: Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13 3/4, Adrian Mole and the Pains of Growing (I think its something like that), Adrian Mole: The Cappucino Years and Howls Moving Castle. LOL. Still reading the Apologist. Left with about 100+ pages.

Then had bought lots of stuff yesterday. Found 2 cool tees at Giordano. A green and yellow "World Without Strangers" tee. Its kinda weird I am wearing green cuz I hadly wear green. I bought green cause the youth section of church color code of dressing is green. LOL. Then bought a blue "World Without Strangers" wristband.

Bought Nike Shoes. Damn expensive. My mom paid most of it for me :) Nice mom. Cost 114dollars!!! But got it ata 20% discount.

Bought more stuff but lazy to type ;)

SAs

Life is pleasuristic- without the exams. SA starts on 5th May- History. Why does History go first? Is it because they want to make History history faster? If thats the case, they can make do without the subject.

Anyway, in 15minutes time I shall be out and away. Enjoying myself, pleasuring myself in the midst of the many thousand books in Kinokuniya. I got a 20dollars voucher for my birthday and 30dollars voucher from someone for something. 50dollars! yay! Wanna buy Howl's Moving Castle the book by Diana Wyne Jones. So Hayao Miyazaki didn't think of the story himself. The animations good anyway.

Not going for the edge today cause visiting grandad. My father's side. I don't usually visit him.

I am so hooked on to Since You've been Gone. Gosh. I wuld like to be hooked on to a christian song rather but... So that explains the Kelly Clarkson [again] the previous previous skin was also a Kel Clark. Hil would probably be jealous...

God Bless, Take Care

the day off

This is a great apology. I haven't pdated my blog for what is so long and I am sorry for that. It has been 3 days and its the end of my Blogging Addiction. Well, right now I am listening to old song "Why Not" by Hilary Duff. I love this song really much and it rocks my life. :) Was at HilaryFans.Net searching for a good banner/button to put on my blog, but none were suitable :(...

Well, today is an awesome day. The day that everyone has been hoping for- the Full Day. Actually, a half day was expected when Mr Low left but it turned out that Mr Ang said that "Why hope for a half day when you can have a full?". So, yay, here am I typing my heart out- on a holiday that only Victorians have. How lucky is that?

Watched 3 good english shows yesterday- First Moms, Chase and American Idol 4. First Moms is a great show. For a long time, I thought Kym Ng couldn't act, but it turns out this shows a sucess. Chase was good too. It was *coughsoembarassingcough* my first time watching. Persis said I missed alot, oh well...

And I was given an article to write for the school mag "Victoriana"! Its about coming to the VS family and its supposed to be 500 words!!! WOW. I tried once but it only was 431 words... Sigh. What to do?

Yarh, so I am gonna enjoy my full day.

lateness of late

Sorry everyone who was expecting a post- earlier. Although the only person I figure is Persis. LOL. Thanks for visiting so regularly. :)

Anyway, tomorrow's the National Cross Country Meet. Victoria School's niche area is that, and the Victorian tradition is that every one must go down to support and cheer. I am excited. Because ever since I stepped into Victoria School, I have been hearing about this competition. Experiencing the Victorian Spirit. The cheering, and the expectancy of having the team win. It must be exciting.

And if the cross country team wins tomorrow, Friday will be a school holiday for all Victorians! Yay! I do hope they win. So (although I know VSCC team members aren't reading this) go Victoria Cross County! And the Concert Band has got Gold with honours in the SYF! Wow...

THIS PART IS IMPORTANT

End Of BAP?

Its quite sad actually. I actually did not update my bloggie during the Blogging Addiction Period. Sigh. Wonder what got into me... This is gonna be a really short post, but before everything, just wanna say "Happy Birthday to You, Wei Fen!". Yup yup, it's Wei Fen's thirteen Birthday today :).

After school went to Orchard with my mom. Actually wanted to go to Kinokuniya but my mom forgot vouchers, so ended up at Borders instead. Bought a book called "the Apologists" its kinda funny though I have only read till the 11th page. Actually this man "murdered" a restaurant owner indirectly. This man (Man A [murderer]) was a journalist. Then he worte a review on a lusy restaurant. Then it was a real bad review. The restuarant owner then commited suicide. So Man A was the "murderer". LOL.

Then went to Cold Storage and shopped for groceries. Finally found the Napolitan Pasta sauce! Yay! Have been eating Bolognaise one for like what is long?

And now hurrying though post so can eat dinner. LOL. English is getting worst...

God Bless, Take Care

The Past Me

Life has changed so much that I begin to worry that I might forget what I looked like in my old uniform, how my old teachers were. How life in primary school was different from secondary school, and most importantly, how it feels like to be an Admiraltyian. So I decided to create a new skin, from "Confessions of a Victorian" to "The Past Me". So sorry about the blurred picture. But the on e pretending to be the retarded dinosaur, scaring the teacher is me. LOL.

Lots of things happened to day, but I'm too lazy to post everything down. So I shall take a post from somebody else's blog. This post is from this week (we're still in this week) Digital Life Blog of the Week: Pieces of the puzle.

New Indian guy to join my office.
Boss comes up to me and asks, ‘How do you pronounce his name correctly? I want to make sure we useless Americans get it right.'

‘Why should it bother you Jack? You have been mispronouncing my name for four years.’

The poor guy was so rattled that I felt bad and quickly tried to calm him down, ‘Not that I really care. As long as it doesn’t get distorted to Bitch.’

‘So it is not Sumaaaan?’

‘No, it is Summmun. Mun as in ‘fun’.

'Oh ok. Simple enough. I will remember that.'

‘Seeuuuummmun,’ he hollered the next day when I walked into his office.

‘No no’, I said shaking my head with dismay and regretting the freakier version that was emerging. ‘Su…as in Subbramanikanteshwar. Forget it, it’s fine actually.’

‘Suman, did you manage to get that transmittal out?’ he asked when I was busy at the copying center.

Not recognizing my own name when it was pronounced right, I didn’t even bother to look up this time.

Canceled!

I can't believe it. Kids Central actually canceled Nickelodean's Hey Arnold and Disney's Lizzie McGuire! Gosh. And they replaced it retarded shows. Superfriends and Tom and Jerry. How lame is that! Lizzie McGuire is Kid's Choice Awards 2005 Nominee for Favourite TV Show okay!

So anyway. Today was kinda cool. But as usual there were things to make the day imperfect. One thing to say is that Oreo and Coke don't mix. At all. LOL.And I find out that I am making far too long posts. I beat my record of 683 words yesterday! There were over 890 words in yesterday's post! Hope you didn't bored. I think I'll try to limit myself to 500-600 words a day. 600plus is like far too much. Although I like myself writing too much.

Mr Low left today... How sad. His name is Mr Low Eng Teong and my name is Weng Keong. And Literature teacher's name is Mr Randell Siow Weng Leong. LOL. Then the ceremony of speeches came. And all were very interesting. When Mr Ang (principal) called "Eng Teong" up the stage, all my friends told me to go up. LOL.

Mr Ang said we were going to have a "full-day" which is a school holiday only for Victorians if the Cross Country team were to win next Wednesday. I hope it'll be on Friday. Then I'll have a long weekend.

The English lesson was totally sucky to day. Ms Fung is probably the worst teacher I have ever met. For the first time in my Victorian life, I am actually hating English. Gosh. I have to stop! MD RADIAH! PLEASE COME BACK!

Chinese lesson was mostly made up of the test today. I forgot that Friday was a "one-period-off-earlier" day. Then thought releasing time was 0130pm. But it was actually 1255pm. LOL. So happy to go home earlier.

Went home and on the train almost read finished the entire "The Last Book in the Universe". Then went to Mac to get lunch. Took Double Fillet EVM.Came home and finished The Last Book in the Universe so heres the book review:

A real nice book. The world really fits into your head. Sci-fi stories have never been so appealing to me. Written really well.

Score:5/5

So yup, heres the ned of my post.

Take care, god bless

big mix up

Today as I sit in front of my trusty old PC (Its 3 years old), I realize how a big mess up life is. You must be wondering what the heck am I talking about but don't worry about that. I'll come to it later in this post. Yesterday I decided to find out the number of words I typed in yesterday's post. I went to google search and typed in "word counter" and it had about 10, 100, 100 results so I just chose one and arrived at http://www.wordpeddler.com/wordcounter.htm and found out that I had over 600 words in that post! How amazing. My usual composition doesn't have that much words.

Today started of quite well. Had Biology-again- as the first period of the day. Science is like 3 times a week and always the first period. It is the subject with highest number of periods in a week- 6. I quite enjoy Bio now, we had a "quiz" which wasn't really a quiz of all the different classes of the Kingdom Animalia.

Then had Chinese. Had ting xie which I had been dreading for a long long time. Did quite well in it anyway. It had 25 questions and I got 23 right. Each question carried 4 marks and I got 92%. The highest was 96.

Theres that horrible Chinese test tomorrow! OH NO!

Then had recess. Today's recess was rather eventful. I went straight up to the Art Room and got changed to a PE tee. I had dirtied 2 shirts with the unwashable arcrylic paint already!!! Then went to the parade square (our parade square is on the 5th floor- just beside the Art room) to see the others playing soccer. Then was harrased by some people to go down and buy food for them and risked having caught by the prefect for smuggling food up.

So I gladly went with Ban Liang- a master smuggler. LOL. Bought what ever I wanted then noticed the "Uniform Uncle" here today. I thought he only came on Fridays. Since I had dirtied 2 uniforms, I decided to buy 2 more. But there was no more stock, so I was to buy only tommorow.

Then went up to pass the food. Luckily no prefect. The prefects must be slacking. So passed the food and everyone was grateful to me :) Then Ban Liang said he was feeling hungry, so went back down and he bought a pau. Then I noticed a book "stall"> A lady was selling warehouse books. They actually specialized in American textbooks but had some Fiction/Non-Fiction Books as well. I found one to liking. It is entitled- The Last Book of the Universe. I have read one-third of it, real nice. The price however, was not that nice. It cost me $12. Still can't believe I bought it.

Then had Art class (climbing back up to the 5th Storey), Literature, and finally the Peer Leader's Meeting. They informed us of the "National Cross Country Championship" and it was the Victorian Tradition for the whole school to go down to the venue to show support. Well, I would find it quite fun. It was to be held at Turf City- the old horse racing/betting grounds. The length of the track was 5km and they had to run 12km. LOL. Its more than half of the track. I'll die if I had runned that. One of Victoria's niche area is also Cross Country, so (i think) we have won the National Cross Country for quite a few years running.

Then went to VJC to attend the Sports Heats. Was taking part in the 100m sprint. This para will talked about the "big mix up" There were about 42 people competing for 8places in the finals. I was one of the 42. Of the 42, 1 was the National Champion for running. LOL. And most people are in the Track and Feild team. After competing, I had lost in my heat. THE LAST ONE! LOL. So yarh, I shouldn't have joined. heeheehee...

So yarh, have to study for that big chinese test tomorrow...

God bless, Take care

everyday laziness

Hmm... I seem to be addicted to blogging... I have been blogging everyday this week. It's like the MARmalade times. If you visit my old blog
MARmalade you will see that I blogged everyday. That is cool. But this thing will probably go away in like... 1 week?

I read Digital Life yesterday and found out that this week's Blog of the week belonged to Indian National Suman. She also won the IndiBlog Award for being the most Humourous Blog Award. Sigh. Wish BigFatSmiles could be featured in Digital Life for being "Blog of the Week" or winning the SingaBlog Award (If there is) for being something. Paltry? LOL, I think so. (You can visit her blog here)

Anyway, I seem to be taking naps often these days. I don't know what's happening to me. I am beginning to become a *gasps* pig! I haven't been training for 2.4 lately. And it has been 2 days since I ran! And the last time I ran was only about 1.5km plus. Man, I'm slacking.

Today was an okay day. There was no History yay! But today was a 4 lesson day- which sucks. First came Science which is getting more and more interesting. All the fanciful scientific bliological names a making me go cranky. Wooohooo! Ms Ismail finally rocks. And today I looked thorugh the 2004 Victorian Yearbook. It was entitled "Navigate 2004". As I looked at the now graduated Sec Four's Photos, I went to one of the classes and saw Ms Ismail as the form teacher there. She was wearing a green dress. And today she was wearing that exact same dress. I told her and she just smiled.

I think my favourite phylum that I have studied so far is the Phylum Poifera because it is Spongebob's phylum :) And I found out the real sponge that lives in the sea is completely different from Spongebob Squarepants. The real sponge is really dumb looking. Its just a tube with a hole. And the hole is both an anus and a mouth. LOL.

After Science had Mathematics. Did more advanced factorisation. Its difficult but I finllay, after the help of Sai, understood. It's good that I did anyway. And found out test results to my last test. Was rather disappointed cause I expected higher results. I got 15/20 which is a gang gang hao A1.

The recess, did the noticeboard which Mr Ong had been reminding me about. LOL. Then removed almost all the rusty and disgusting thumbtacks.

Had english afterwards. Mdm Radiah had an eye infection :( so she didn't come. Get well soon Mdm Radiah! And then Ms Fauzana walked in with this mousey-nerdy teacher. She had a weird last name- Fung and was not married (obviously, LOL). And her lesson was dead boring. She went through summary questions and hardly anyone listened. Then she gave us a summary worksheet to be handed in next Wednesday. My first homework of the day.

The last lesson- Chinese. Chinese was more interesting but I bet I am not going to enjoy tomorrow and hou tian's lesson. For there is ting xie tomorrow to prepare us for the test on Friday. Gosh. Had Chinese newspaper reading. Was about Chinese Calligraphy (shu fa) and Chinese painting. Later had textbook reading and the proper lesson. Yeah! I have an assistant for my Chinese class monitor role- Yi An! LOL.

Yay! And thats the end of school day. Went home and mom cooked me lunch- Spaghetti Bolognaise. Ever since Swensons removed Spaghetti Napolitan from their menu, I have never eaten it. :( I like that type of spaghetti.

Then slept (read above) and studied for tomorrow's ting xie. Had 55 ci yu and cheng yu to study. I was so relieved when I was done. Studying for 55 words is no joke.

So yup, thats the end of my post. And gosh! I am 18 minutes early for American Idol. Didn't catch the 3pm one cause was eating lunch.

raining everyday

These days, it seems to be raining everyday... Wonder why... The monsoon season has already passed, but its still raining... Today was kinda nice but theres always something to spoil the day. After all... nothing is perfect... haix. Today's spoiling was Montezuma's revenge. If you dont know what it is forget and don't check it out.

School started nicely. Had science in the morning. Ms Ismail is normally an extremely boring bio teacher, but today's science lesson was (to me) terrific. She's kinda like Mrs Dhillon, the P5 Social Studies teacher. At the start I don't like her, but slowly, I am accpeting her. Of course it's only the minority thats doing that. For Mrs Dhillon, it was Guo Feng who was accepting her. Now, its my good friend Sai who is aggreeing with me.

I think it's the topic. When I felt her lessons were boring, she was teaching Ecology. Now she is doing Biology. And i like the fancy Latin/Greek names given to Animals, Plants etc. For the Animal Kingdom, the scientific name is Kingdom Animalia. For the plants, its Kingdom Plantae. And I found out Spongebob is in the phylum in the Kingdom Animalia, Poifera. So Spongebob is in the Phylum Poifera! LOL.

And Mamals in the scientific term is Mamalia, Fish- Pisces, Amphibians- Amphibia and Birds-Aves. To me, thats so cool. All the fancy names and stuff.

And after Bio-Science had English (CCP) played the a real fun game called Shift. Its like you pick someone to be "it", then the "it" has to stand up. (You are all sitting on chairs in a circle). Then the person sitting beside it has to move to it's place. Then the person beside has to move and so on and so forth. It has to try to sit down. It okay if you don;t understand. Then came an activity where we had to sell a product. My groupie was given Downtown East (Escape Theme Park, Wild Wild Wet etc.) Then we came up with this dman LAME commercial. We won the audiences' heart because of the Lameness. If it were put on a Lame-o-metre, the machine will probably explode.

Then went for recess. Went to the library to try to find the lastest edition of PC-World but someone was probably reading it... Sigh...

Then had History. History today wasn't as bad as yesterday. Guess I like content lessons more than Workbook revising lessons. Learnt about the spread a Islam in Melaka (Malacca). It was damn interesting. Strangely, I find anything related to Islam interesting.

Then had Lit. Mr Seow went through on poetry. Read his poem with words that are hard to pronounce. Luckily i knew how to read rendezvous. But among those I didn't know were repartee and some others. Oh ya, i was reading out that poem alone to the class. So I know now that repartee is pronounced as reparta (rpr-t).

Then had lunch. Had the famous Victoria School Indian Rojak. Was there early, so didn't have to queue. Then Kundan said "What's so nice about it huh?" LOL, he doesn't apreciate his own cultural food. He's Indian himself!

Then went home with Sakib. Has been a long time since I went home with him. Talked about NPCC and Boy's Brigade, comparing each other. But he kinda talked more but it was interesting to learn more about another CCA.

God bless, take care
Jesus loves you and will take away that horrible Montezuma's revenge :)

mud

today was a wonderful day. horrible yet fun. disgusting yet joyful. muddy yet cool.

harharhar. today had PE as first period. Ran 3 rounds round the whole school. Came in one of the top 10 in my class ;) Took bout 11min. Then had games.

JUST BECAUSE i didnt come the first week. And then the 2nd week i had to run becasue i didnt come the first week. And this week had to single out because i ran last week. What ridiculousness? Although i am not entirely angry at this thing. So we were also playing soccer like anyone else. Just that we had lesser people in a team so that we could run more. LOL.

So there were NO goalkeepers. The teacher wanted us to be STRIKERS. Strikers run more around the allocated space. Beleive me, i suck at soccer. I had 4 balls right in front of me and i was in front of the goal post. And i didnt mange to kick it in. My friends are nice lah. They dont blame me. But the opposite kept on laughing.

To add on to the discomfort. It had just rained. So the ground was serioulsy muddy. And my shoes were hopelessly muddy. OH gosh. Then the ball hit my head. And my face got mud. HEY! mud is good for the skin rite? LOL.

Then started to rain. GOSH. Then the muddy feild got muddier. Then it became ver heavy. So the teacher asked us to GET BACK IN. Then everyone else was at the hose area washing their shoes. LOL. Alot off people went home with wet socks and shoes.

Then went back to class. It was recess. Then went to wipe the mud of my shoe. I am proud to say their quite clean now. I am a pro wiper. LOL. Then went toilet and saw people (namely oswin, max) putting their socks under the handdryer. LOL. Then went back to class. People were stripping. Of course not that bare lah. Only until the underwear. Then some people started talking sick. Oh man...

And yarh. Back on the soccer game. the score was 7-5. We 7 they 5 :) Today was the first time i played soccer in victoria school. and i managed to win. yay!

then me and sakib discussed on putting towel, extra socks and shoes and the locker. LOL. i'll do that once i receive my locker.

Then after recess had history. I HATE HISTORY! we were going through the wookbook questions. Then had to copy down the teacher's perfect answers when you already had done your homework and written down your own answers. Although my answers arent perfect. They aren't slip-slop answers either. Arggh. So actually had to do the book 2times. Once myself and once with the teacher. And what is the reason for copying down the teacher's answer? So that you can compare your answer to the tchr's answer and improve.

And after history had maths. Maths was fun today! Had Algebra test. Serioulsy think i am gonnna do well. Paper was damn easy. Then after test was supposed to have CME. Dont even know what CME is for anyway. It is a total WASTE OF TIME. Primary school CME with liu lao shi was tons better. BUT our CME teacher was our maths teacher. So he replaced CME with maths, he always does that ;)

Learnt factorisation of algebraic numbers. Was quite fun. Then went home. Without homework. YEAH!

Sad stuff today was Danial didnt come. He had fever. SO though i noe you're not reading this. GET WELL SOON DANIAL!

Take Care, God Bless
Jesus Loves You so he made the teachers not give you homework today ;)

Congrats to Hilary and Stephen though I know you are never gonna visit my blog ;)

aint no philosopher

today is the 3rd of april. telling me its time to update my blog. i am finally OPENED to the BIG walls of victorian blogging. yesterday, i have discovered 1 blog from my nice senior josiah leong from bb. he's kinda wacky. and then through he's blog i yet diescovered another senior of mine jeremy :) so yarh, i have finally been to 2 more blogs belonging to victorians.

on the papers (eg. digital life) i have discovered how philosophical and meaningful blogs could be. one of these days, i saw some blogs in the str8s times and they were from a cancer patient etc. etc. and they reflected about their days experiencing extreme pains and stuff. yet being able to endure everything and penning (or typing) everything down on a blog. comparing to my blog, all these posts are actually rubbish.

my computer crashed. luckily i managed to salvage some of my old photos. if i lost those i wonder what i'll do! they include those from graduation day, jep, and the botanical gardens trip. ;) everything else was lost. that word FREAKS ME OUT. hiax. so now i am downloading the sygate personal firewall and its taking forever. i wonder why. starhub has upgraded the account to 2000kpbs (or 2 mpbs) but the software is still downloading at 1.8kb per second. argh.

and mozilla firefox has finally some cons. lol. nothing is perfect. for example. i was surfing the net in a pc somewhere esle using internet explorer and the blog was much nicer there. there was this shading effect and there was a nice orange like block scroll. all my visitors using ie should experience it but me using mozilla, there is no shading effect and the nice scroll :(

the pope has died! Gasps! dying at the age of 84 is not excatlly old. lee kuan yew is 82 and still damn healthy. john paul II has been frail and sickly in his last days... life is fragile... what i like about him is that he is the first pope to be on a comic book! lol. if i find that comic i'll buy it right away. but its probably only in the US or England...

yesterday was horrible yet good. according to all my seniors, the organization of the bb adventure quest was good. but the organizers said there was nothing woring with the oragnizers. but i'll probalbe be siding with my seniors lol. their my seniors okay. so bryan josiah and their league didnt even get to race. so sad...

i hope to join aq but scared to get splatter with mud all over like one of the sec 4s. wow, it was scary. the entire bag was mud. the legs were mud. the shoes were even worst. omg.

but i'll be joinging this year's bible quiz. it will be on the 22nd of july. topic is esther and nehemiah. i am more familiar with esther. esther's story is damn interesting. i have the vegetails version of esther, which is weird. in that animation. esther has no hands. when she picks up an item, it just floats around her. LOL. and today i finally found out that vegetail's animation "king george and the ducky" was a version of david.

vegetails always make their animation less horrific. in the animation. king george took someones rubber ducky. but it the real biblical story david took someone's wife. LOL. and in esther, the queen was kicked out of the palace because she didnt make the kind a sandwich at 3am in the morning. but the real biblical record was that she didnt show off her beauty at the kings banquet. i guess children would be horrified if they watched something like that.

so yarh. this long post has come to an end. take care and god bless you.

*jesus loves you even if your blog is mostly rubbish
