Alpha Pierce took a spade and knocked Beta Pierce over. Wham. It was a hard blow, and Beta laid stationery on the floor. A spot of bother dripped out the side of her mouth. "Shut up", she said, and breathed her last breath.
I am now immune to the shit I get. I wonder if that's good or bad.
I'm usually such a bore when it comes to updating my blog, this much justified when Danial highlighted the date of the last entry I posted. It's the life and shit we all go through that just kills the enthusiasm in me. But when inspiration comes, it's a totally different matter. I now find myself furiously typing across the keyboard already with the checklist of items clearly imprinted in my head.
Firstly, I would like to tell everyone how rad Sue Townsend's latest book is. Queen Camilla is a fantastic read, I'm telling myself to read fasted because the books is bleeding interesting, yet each time I look at the number of pages remaining, it kills me. It's the book after Harry Potter I have refused to put down, quite an achievement, I must say. The most endearing part must be how Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh refers Queen Elizabeth II as "Lilibet". Shit seriously.
I never really was a fan of food shows, except Nigella Lawson's Nigella Feasts or probably any other of her food shows. It's just plain pleasure to sit through watching her talk about what she's cooking and stuff. The Brit thing just throws off the entire presentation so well, with all her colorful language and stuff. And the best thing is that her food doesn't look that great so I don't go drooling after the show. She makes cooking look fantastically easy though, like every other food personality on screen.
Food for thought: Earlier an advertisement ran on Travel and Living about these people enjoying beach volleyball and sun (I always had a penchant for beaches), then relaxing in a spa and partying at night. And I was like what the freak is this place? Thinking it was Australia or something cuz I never saw the ad before. Then, it burst out big and wide.
Sentosa.

Shitassed crap from shitassed people has like bombarded a million Hiroshimas on the crap out of me for the past weeks. It's totally pathetic how we're treated sometimes. The line of work seeks to kill, I'm telling you. You trudge to school everyday knowing it's gonna take another slice of you to survive till you see the dusk. Then you start slogging your head off all the worms they throw at you and sleep. Sleep- the only source of rest you get, it's like heaven. Then you wake up and find the world splat back in your face. Get your ass of they bloody bed it tells you. And then you go through the same horrid cycle the whole week until you're immune to the shit you're swimming in. Shit and oxygen have no more difference, you're breathing it just the same. Education people! You don't have it? You can breathe shit and more shit.
Oh well, it's life. Get used to it. Get over it. Live it.
I just realized I had Fergie's Big Girls Don't Cry in my iTunes all awhile and haven't listened to it except when Concert for Diana was playing on teevee. Oh well, Glamorous and that song is like just this exceptional women we see apart from the typical "sexed" up Fergie we are so exposed to. I guessed it's just her lousy image people who create such a perception from the public and all the people who buy her CDs are horned up yuppies. Whatever man. Fergie rocks my socks.
Oh yeah, while I'm at it let me just spread some awareness forthe Darfurian campaigns Enough and Save Darfur have been strongly pitting towards the world. I'm sure most Sec 3 Victorians have see the film Hotel Rwanda depicting one of the world's deadliest genocide in Rwanda amounting to hundreds of thousands deaths. The same thing is happening today in Darfur.
And what had happened was that China has been trading extensively with Sudan, the nation Darfur exists in. Not only does it trade with the country, it remains the largest foreign investor in that country, largest diplomatic sponsor and major weapons provider. China holds the greatest power to changing the course of the lives of millions of people. Over 300000 people have died in the course of this genocide, and civilians continue to die at a rate of 15 000 a month.
And with their hosting of the Olympics just a year away, it just seems completely absurd that they are letting such an atrocity pass before their eyes. Its lack of reaction has cost lives! Not numbers people! LIVES! It's only when more people know and start pointing fingers is when they will wake up and realize their pearls they have been harvesting- pretty cities that show off their economic development and power- are bloodstained.
The US House of Representatives has already introduced a resolution to boycott the Beijing Olympics next year. Chances of it being passed are high, since it was the Republicans who introduced it and the Democrats has been pushing for further reforms on human rights from China.
People, we don't need such a scenario. Write a letter to Mr Hu Jin Tao now.
