Heb 11:1
[1] Now faith is the assurance of {things} hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Heh 11:6
[6] But without faith [it is] impossible to please [Him], for he who comes to God must BELIEVE that He is, and [that] He is a REWARDER of those who DILIGENTLY seek Him.
This is what verse one is talking about, how can you have faith when you do not believe in His natrue, when faith itself is believe in His nature which is written in verse 6.
Though you do not see it, you hope with assurance that He's a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, and have the conviction,a fixed or firm belief in His nature though you do not see it.
If you seek His presence, you'll find it, if you have faith and not doubtly, seeking or asking with all diligence.
If you pray for a need, you'll receive what you asked in faith, according to His will, because He's a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him with faith, because it pleases Him.
Always remember this two verses, be it drawing near to Him and asking for anything pertaining anything under heaven.
Though there are many verses in regards to drawing near to God, this is one of the fundamental that you have to grasp.
