What dangers await me?
Beyond the shores of Singapore?
What treasures find me?
In the plains of this foreign land.
450 years of foreign occupation.
The colonising Portugese.
The warring Japanese
And the violent Indonesians.
The newest independant state-
A choice made by the population.
50% unemployment.
What Singapore was years ago.
Reaching the shores of that country
How will the hoi polloi react?
Nervousness creeps.
Into this country that has gone through too much.
I await.
December 13th.
