Life

Life is truely a wonderful thing. A wonderful and probably a best gift that anyone can receive- from God. This might sound crappy and maybe (too) philosophical but it is how I feel now. Read Jeremy's blog just now and this is one paragraph he made in his latest entry:

The thing about me and blogging is that my blog is never me. There are things I hide, never telling anyone, cause I am ashamed of it. There are also things I don't say, as it may destroy the image of me this blog is trying to portray. thats one of my fears. But I also don't want this to be a refraction of me, I want it to be a reflection. I want it to be the true me. But it cannot, due to reasons, which include some I have just said. Sometimes I think that if only a machine were invented that could record the brainwaves in my mind, and replay it in your mind, then that will truly be me and that you would understand me the best this way. and if these could be expressed in words, it would be my perfect blog. but sorry readers, that is impossible. this is the best I can do.

I really believe a blog is not a portrayal of yourself but rather your views and certain things. A blog is a place for you to express your thoughts about certain stuff. A blog is a place where you write about how you feel. But a blog is not a portryal of yourself. Xiaxue's blog has porn inside, does it mean she is a porn fan? Maybe. But not 100% true.

And no one ever wants to show our true self to anyone. Our true self is sinful and is horrid. we are all human and it is because of God that we are saved and our sinful and horrid sins are forgiven. So it is human nature to to expose yourself. Like Adam and Eve, once they ate the fruit from the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, they immediatly clothed themselved with leaves- for they knew they were naked. So this is human nature. There is nothing wrong with not portraying =)

Was wanting to stop BQ-ing today. Was quite sick of it already. Actually I liked Esther. But Nehemiah was quite boring. But then I remembered a chorus from a song from a Donut Man CD:

10 said "NO!"
There are Giants in the land
2 said "GO!"
God will lead us by the hand

10 said "NO!"
We're afraid as we can be
2 said "GO!"
God will give us VICTORY

If you are clever enough you would know that the 2 are Joshua and Caleb who wanted to attack a land that God had given them. They trusted God and never gave up and in the end they defeated the Giants.

I was encouraged by this and decided not to give up BQ after all. Thought of posting the song here, but it seems to childish. Ha ha.
