The "Movie"

Life is full of unexpected things. Though those unexpected things are not really that serious. Today Christopher called me up and asked me whether I would like to watch Madagascar with him up the hand-up-consent-form session. Then he later called me and said he cannot go because his mother said he has been spending too much money.

So I went with Eric and Kiat Leong. Dined at Macs. Eric is sometimes weird. Kiat Leong asked him to buy fries. He said he did't want to eat. Later, he took our fries. Go figure. Didn't watch Madagascar though. Played at the hopelessly boring Arcade. I think I'm not an arcade person. Or maybe it was the company. I remember having quite an amount of fun the first time I was at the arcade in Sun Plaza with Wen Tong and Jiarong. I even kept a token for remembrance. But this time... I bought 4, used one and gave the rest to Eric.

The Arcade at Parkway is Family-friendly. Everyone there is old. I don't really see many teens hanging around. The Sun Plaza one is definitely not. It is packed full and it's noisy. I think the best arcade is at Causeway Point. Iy's both teen and family friendly.

Came back home via 966, there is direct 966 from Parkway. Took it feeling- feverish. Sigh. Then reached home. And slacked- feeling feverish. Then decided to do BQ Homework. Did it and watched Spongebob.

Spongebob is sometimes quite weird. There was this group od worms in todays episode and it said it was thirsty. Aren't they in the sea? Isn't the sea water? And they had to drink Spongebob's House. Ha ha.

Take Care God Bless

A Great Day Spoiled

Today was a great day. But it was all spoilt. Just one thing- wiped out the rest. It's like the tsunami. With great waves, Phuket, Aceh and all the other countries were wiped. And it's disgusting how it happened. Because it can be prevented. And this awful thing not only affected me but my 2 seniors which I am sorry to. I shall, below, state the pleasant events of the day.

On the way to school, on the MRT, I saw this Chinese Old Lady speaking to an Indian lady. Nothing weird about that but the point is that they were conversing in some Indian dialect. And I doubt they knew each other before the conversation. Later on, when the Indian lady got off the train, the Chinese Old Lady took out a scripture from the book of John and started reading it. Isn't that wonderful?

The bumper boat ride to Pulau Ubin was fun. Real fun. There were occasional splashes. And, like the name, bumpy. Changi Jetty has also upgraded, it is now nicer and more "tourist-atractioning" although though it isn't equipped with the air-con luxury, more fashionable fans should be put in.

When we reached our destination, I met Clarissa with her Nan Hua Girls Brigade people. Meeting primary school friends unintentionally is cool. I wasn't suprised though. I read her blog the day before.

Later on, we had that treasure hunt thingy at Pulau Ubin. After reaching the first checkpoint, my partner Yiwen's bicycle chain jumped. It went really deep inside and got really stuck. A lady, Irene, asked if we needed help and she called for help. She said a van was to arrive but it took real long. In the period of waiting for the van, 3 people attempted to pull the chain out, unsucessfully. I got many mosquito bites. I looked like a leper. Fortunately, they are gone now, thanks to my restraint on scratching.

Then after one hour we decided to stop waiting and wheel our bicycles towards all checkpoints. On our way to the next checkpoint, the van came! And so Yiwen switched his jumped bike with a workable bike. We finished all the non-adventure checkpoints but had no time for the rest.

Then had prize-presentation later on. For the adventure section, all 3 top prizes were clinched by 2nd Company People. Ha ha. Congrats my seniors!

Then suddenly remembered I left my watch on the bike. Quickly went back to get my watch at the bicycle and quick-eyed uncle found it within a matter of seconds. Thanks uncle! Then I went back and saw 2nd Coy leave for the jetty. Saw Harry and asked him where was my bag, he said it was with Officer Herman. I went back and found him with my bag. I took it from him and unexpectedly he told me to go back with his Primers.

The Primers then said they wanted to buy a drink and they sat down at the shop. Bryan called me a lot of times but they instructed me to reject it. Reluctance. Then we walked to the jetty and I saw Bryan- worried. Guilty. He hurried me to the front and we took the jetty.

At the immigration point, changi jetty, mainland singapore, we heard cat-like noises when the police was scanning our bags. He told us to open them to make sure we didn't carry a cat in our bags. I then later found out he was the one making the noises. Ha ha. Who would have imagined... all but a POLICE! to joke around...

Then the horrible thing came...

I was used by a BB Officer... Sigh... I had to type a 300 word report, Bryan an 800 and Josiah 1000. Sigh... Herman washed my day away. It was almost perfect... but...

Don't wish to talk about it anymore.

Take Care anyway and God Bless You

Blogging Again

I have been noticing how much I disregarded my blog in this time. It makes me feel as if I have failed my blog. The theme of this tuesday's Digital Life was was BlogBuster and it featured XiaXue. Sigh. Why is there so much hype in Xiaxue's blog? I read it and found entertaining but not to that extent.

Life is depressing at the moment. I don't even know why I am depressed. I can't even type properly. I need practice. But I am definitely not suffering from depression. The cause of my depressiveness is probably my rush these days. I am so dead busy- that I did not come online yesterday.

There was that photojournalism course held by a freelance photographer yesterday. And she brought us out to Marine Parade Central to take pictures of people. That seems easy, but the difficulty is having that person know that you are taking him. Not just shooting but "Hello! can I shoot you?". And so I faced 5 rejections. One from a watch seller, one from a bread shop worker, one from a painter, one from a laundry shop lady and one from a garang guni. It's quite depressing you know. And then the photos I took weren't that fantastic.

I reached home at 6.30pm yesterday. And slept through most of the bus ride, I was so tired after walking around in Marine Parade. Facing rejections is hard work! Ha ha. Anyway, slept through the entire bus ride and when I woke up, I was suprised at the number of people. 966 is definitely not a crowded bus. But almost all the seats were filled up. I think it's due to the xia ban period. Then when I walked out into Woodlands Interchange, Wow. The queues were real long.

Then had Bible Quiz training today. It started at 2pm, but was dismissed at 10am. What to do with 4 hours? So I ate Laksa. So-so. But it was hot- actually everything is hot to me. Then went up to the BB Room and accidentally broke the window. Fixed it anyway. Ha ha.

Went to BK with seniors. Something childish happened there, but I shall not leak out the secret. Finally 2pm drew nearer. Went for BQ and took a test. I forgot Mordecai's father's name. It was supposed to be Jair but I wrote Joir. Sigh. Stupid O.

So yup... Gonna catch up on Blogging. I have decided to review my secret website. PLease sign the guestbook! The URL is http://memories2004.tripod.com.

Tired

I am so dead tired, I have painted and drawn my art piece for my SA- finally. Its so dead tiring leh. Sigh. However, I have this wonderful sense of achievement after finishing. And I like that feeling. The painting itself is quite ugly. But what is actually nice about it is that I have made an effort and put in effort to do it nicely. Hope I can score an A1 for Art.

I got my chinese results today. I didn't fail. I got 58%. C5. I hope to get a B4 after adding in the bonusmarks like Zuo Ye, Zuo Wen etc. I will be getting all the rest of the results tomorrow. And its freaky. Sigh. Hope I can get an MSG of 2> and that doesnt include 2. So at most I must gett 1.99999999999999... Lol.

For non-Victorians, MSG is taking all your grades numbers [if your grade is a1, your grade no. is 1] adding them all up together then divided by the number of subjects you are taking. So if I get MSG 1.9, my average grade is probably about A2... Something like that larh. I might be wrong.

Not My Day

Today is simply not my day. Sigh. Really. I am so dead unlucky. I know I shouldn't believe in luck but...

Sigh. Had lunch in MacDonald's today. But I kept dropping my fry like 5 times? When I was eating? Then the Admiralty branch Mac was having construction. Right when I am eating lunch. Sigh. Then went out to buy Newspapers. Then a lady wanted ot buy I-Weekly. Then I paid for my papers already, but she put her coins on the paper stack. So I couldn't take a copy. Then she slowly slowly count one. So I had to wait some time before I could take my paper and leave.

Then when I walked out of the station, it was raining! Of all the things happened- it had to rain. It can snow, haze, hail, what ever. But why rain. So the easiest thing to do in a situation like this is run. So I ran. Then ran ran ran until over the junction. Then when in the HDB estate already I slipped on a metal drain thingy and fell! Sigh. Of all the things. Then my papers flew everywhere. Now I have soggy papers. Then got up and exmined wound. Still okay larh, picked up papers and looked around. Lucky no one saw me.

Then got home and slammed the door and gate feeling dead angry. Sat down and started reading papers. Got dead comftable then... noticed something was dripping from the floor. Blood. Sigh. The blood was dripping from my wound. So went to the toilet [getting out of that supper comfy position] ad cleaned wound. Then finally read the papers.

So heres the blog of the week. Its called "Celebrity Blog Watch". And it keep tracks of celeb's blogs. Click here for it. Then went to Hilary duff's blog. Actually I knew about it all along larh, but haven't been visiting her blog recently cause she doesn't update very regularly. If I ever become a star, my fans are in for a treat cause I update my blog. Lol. [my first Lol of this post]

Then read through and realized she didn't update for a month. Sigh.

Survivor was cool yesterday. I am beggining to miss the show. I will have to wait for 4-5months before the next season comes out. It is Survivor: Guatamela- The Maya Empire. Survivors will camp in the ruins of the Maya Empire which is freaky. Imagine staying in those old ruins. Built over 3000 years ago. And there is said even to have Human Sacrifices in theres. Gasp! And the ruins look like those in Mohenjo-Daro just that they are dark. The pyramids of Egypt would be a better comparison to the Maya Ruins.

Survivor is into it's 11th season! Wow. I remember the first time watching Survivor. It was Survivor: The Amazon. It was real cool and I was only 9 then. I have dedicated about 4 years of my life to watching Survivor. Survivor RULES!!!

Amidala Fashions

Watched Star Wars Episode One: The Phamtom Menace today because there was nothing much on TV. Then got really inspired by the gowns Queen Amidala wore. They are so beautiful. But my mother thinks their so ugly. Lol, my personal favourite is what Star Wars Fan Sites call the "Red Invasion. I liked it so much, I even drew it out. Padme Amidala is acted by Israeli Natalie Portman. Below is a picture of a Red Invasion doll:

Some reasons why I like this outfit is because it has some Chinese Influence on it. Especially on the collar and the "tie". Yup yup, waiting to watch the Return of the Sith soon :).

Cheecking

I don't know why, but my latest hobby is checking out Airline websites checking the price of air tickets from Singapore to other cool, far away, places-i-have-never-been-to-and-i-wanna-go countries. Here are some of my results:

From Singapore to Paris
Singapore Airlines, Economy Class, $2100
Air France, Economy Class, $1830
Singapore Airlines, Business Class, $6500
Air France, Business Class, $4000

From Singapore to Cairo
Singapore Airlines, Economy Class, $1960
United Emirates*, Economy Class, $1441
Singapore Airlines, Economy Class, $5750
United Emirates*, Business Class, $13 780
*EgyptAir doesn't fly from Singapore
Prices in Singapore Dollars

Yup, these are the 2 countries I wish to go too. If you notice, United Emirates Buisiness Class from Singapore to Cairo actually cost more than 10 000sgd! Wow! Haha, but I am happy to think that with S$247, I can go to HongKong through JetStar Asia Airways. So if I ever want to run away from Home, I can go to Hong Kong! Lol.

Haha, maybe my dream to Cairo and Paris will come soon :)

No Matter What

Watched the entire Andrew Lloyd Webber Birthday Party yesterday. No apparent reason apparetly. In case you don't know, Andrew Lloyd Webber is the famous composer of The Phamtom of The Opera, Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat etc.

Then Boyzone was invited to the Party. Then they sang No Matter What. Wow. It has been 7 years since the release of that song... but I still love it as ever. Thats why you are hearing that song now... LOL. If you are not hearing it, its probably because it takes some time to load or you are using mozilla, use IE to hear the song...

Gonna Watch American Idol now :) Think Carries gonna get voted out... Sigh

Calvin and Hobbe

Hihi! My bloggie has a new skin :). Calvin and Hobbes. I really had to change it cause the Hilary Duff eating choc one was really full of HTML errors that I couldn't fix. And everything was so complicated and I gave up. This one is fresh :). Sigh, wish I could make my own skins :(.

Today was an okay day. Got scolded by Mr Marran in the morning. [Non-Victorians, he's our discipline master]. The class was in chaos Everyone was throwing paper balls. But me and the monitor didn't really care. I was talking to Danial. Then Mr Marran suddenly came. Then he looked very angry. Took pledge, National Anthem then sat down. Suddenly he said "Monitor and Assistant Monitor come here." then when we went there he suddenly screamed like hell. So dead loud. Freaky. Luckily Mr Gabriel came along and "rescued" us. Sigh. Crush-leftover-exam-paper-into-ball Ball Throwing is now officially dangerous Mr Marran has MARKED US DOWN Ahhhh!!!

Then had Lit. Dead difficult!!! Sigh. I hope I can still get that A1 I aimed. Doubt it larh. Then I remember one question I had funnily and very stupidly answered:

Q: If you were the playwright/script writer, what climax would you put Patrick in in this situation:

Patrick was frozen by the Immobiliser with he's arms still waving around in the air.

My A [which is obviously wrong]: He should be in the North Pole or South Pole where it is more suitable to get frozen.

* The situation and question is a bit changed as I can't remember the exact one.

Oh God! I can't believe I answered that! Hahaha, think you must be laughing right now if you had read that play "Zeep!".

Took the Eunos-Woodlands bus route. I will be taking the Tampines-Admiralty one tomorrow. Then went to top up my card at Woodlands Station, so didn't want to walk down again, so I took MRT from Woodlands. Suprisingly, I only pay 30c from Woodlands to Admiralty via MRT! Whereas for bus I am paying 45c!

Then saw a young Admiraltyian probably about Primary One going to school. He had the bag I had always wanted In Primary One- the trolley type bag. Lol. Suddenly remember how I pestered my mom for that bag in Primary one. Never got it. But in Primary Three I thought it was childish. Lol.

Conincendences

I am posting this entry first from Blogger :) Fasten your seatbelts for a long post :)

Coincidences on planet Earth are not difficult to find. Who would have thought that my cousin's church is Josiah's church? And their church- Bethany Evangelical Free Church- is quite a small church. And it's real cosy :)

And wo would have thought Sandra knew Jian Han? Josiah's bud and my "knew through Josiah" senior. So the relationship is Weng Keong>Sandra>Jian Han>Weng Keong. Another one is Weng Keong>Sandra>Sheryl (another Lighthouse Church member who is Jian Han's and Sandra's fellow churchmember)>Jian Han>Weng Keong.

Isn't it cool? It's so coincidental and it's so cool! Okay, I am now officially speaking rubbish. I can't wait to find out more relationships. LOL. New found friends are so cool :)

Today was a nice day. Think I didn't do very well for my Maths paper. Hoping hard that will be able to get A1 for Maths. Actually if I were to get a MSG of 2> I will be very very happy. 1.9 would be wonderful enough.

Didn't manage to finish last question of Maths paper Part I. Shucks. I am getting poorer at typing, I should blog longer to improve my typing lol. I am like hitting the backspace key too often.

Then took the Eunos-Woodlands route home today. Gonna try the Tampines-Admiralty route on Friday [Thanks for suggestion jh and encouragement chit]. Tomorrow's English. Not quite afraid. The last Comphrehension paper I took, I got like 42/50? I am better at English I guess.

So afraid on Chinese on Friday. Sigh. Good thing they put it on Friday. Got that hunch that I might get C5/6 for that.

Met juniors from Admiralty today! Haha, met Weng Ho's brother Weng Feng. They are like such a cool pack of brothers- Weng Feng, Weng Ho and Weng Seng. And if I budge in, there will be a Weng Keong too! LOL. They are cantonese too. He was like "Hi!" and I was like "Hey~". Then he saw his friend who was holding a pack of cotton candy and ran to him and said goodbye to me.

Then when at lobby, saw Sarah's brother Adam. I was like "Hi" and he was like "Hi". Then he reached his floor and was like "Bye" and I was like "Bye". LOL. That is a very bad relationship. I figure I am using lol, TO MUCH. Went to Dictionary.com and found out the meaning of LOL:

LOL

"laughing out loud", or "lots of love" or "luck".

I remember Marc telling me that LOL could be Lots of Laughs too. Haha. I am not laughing out loud every time I type LOL on the screen okay.

This is the end of my entry, not a very long one like the ones I used to type last time- 800+. This ones only 400+. Yup.

* This post was originally on my space, visit my space at http://spaces.msn.com/members/freshman-victorian :)

Hello,

This is my first post on MSN Spaces! I read about MSN Spaces on the Straits Times today. I have herd of it but didn't know it was a blog thingy. Yup. I am a die-hard blogger. My addiction started on the 1st of September 2004- Teacher's Day. My "real" blog can be found at http://bigfatsmiles.blogspot.com. I made this blog for experience and also to let people have a easier contact to my blog- the MSN Messenger. If you are reading this, you are definitely on my Messenger List as my audience thingy is set to- Messenger- unless you are reading this from BigFatSmiles.

For readers at BigFatSmiles, you can visit my Space at http://spaces.msn.com/members/freshman-victorian. You can see that my URL has a lot to do with my blog title- Confessions of a Freshman Victorian, his experiences and regaining the past.

His experiences refer to my life as a Victorian. My life is Victoria School. The "now" thing. Regaining the past refers to his Life in Admiralty. How he was from 7 to 12. You can view my first photo album- the Junior Entrepreneurship Program photos. There are others but I haven't uploaded them- yet. I will ASAP.

The Bus

The Bus on the wheels go round and round
Round and round
Round and Round
The Bus on the wheels go round and round
Round All day

Yup, yup, I took the bus instead of the MRT today. Isaved me 30min :). And it dropped me outside Admiralty. So I don't need to walk from the station all the way home :) But it was rather tiring to change here and there. Here's my route:

Outside Victoria board bus 55...
Reach Victoria Junior...
Pass by enemy school St. Patrick's...
Reach Eunos Station...

Go to Eunos foodcourt and buy Soya Bean to drink on bus...
Go back to bus stop...
Board Bus 966...

Reach Woodlands Interchange...
Look for 913...
Found, but was a wrong 913, this one goes to Marsiling...

Found correct queue...
Saw senile man make hand gestures retardedly but cutely...
913 arrives, board...
Reach Admiralty Primary...
Look in, See Primary Ones Walking in...
Use Overhead Bridge just in case Mr Raman is looking...

Reach Home...

Yep, that is my route today. Instead of taking 31/196/197 to Bedok, then change train at City Hall then reach Admiralty. The only disadvantage is that I pay 45c more, which is quite a lot...

Blog Entries Retarded

My blog entries are getting more retarded by day. Actually I just wanted to post "Scott, your journey ends here, on American Idol".

I am quite unhappy with the results. I hate Bice [Bo Bice]. He is that disgust. I think Athony will be voted out next, though I hope Bo will. Carrie will win this season! She will be America's 4th Idol! She will sell more albums then any more Idol! She will become a multi trillionaire overnight after her album is released in US alone. She will be triple richer after it is released in China. She will be a million times richer after it is released to the world! She will sell 99999999999999999999999999999.... copies of albums! She will be richer than Bill Gates!!!

Okay, I am getting to carried away... LOL.

Took my History today... Quite difficult. Hope I can achieve an A2. Sigh. was rushing to finish the paper... Sigh. Tomorrow taking chinese paper one... Sigh, die one larh...

Summer actually has its advantages... I am in love with yet another song- Summertime by Renee Olstead. The actually singer is not her. But she has received tons of praises for this song. It is jazz, I like jazz. I didn't like jazz untill I bought Renee's CD. Marilyn sucks at jazz. Whatever.

*Summertime Lyrics

Summertime and the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin', and the cotton is high
Your Daddy's rich and your Mama is good lookin'
So, hush, little baby don't you cry

One of these mornings you're gonna rise up singin'
You're gonna spread your wings and take to the sky, take to the sky
But until that mornin' there's nothin' that can harm you
With Daddy and Mommy standin' by

Summertime
Yes, it's the time, I'm talking about summertime
And the livin', summer living, and the living is so fine
Fish are jumpin', and the cotton is high
Your Daddy's rich, he's rich, your Daddy's filthy rich
And your Mama, hot Mama, your Mama's so good lookin'
So, hush, little baby don't you cry

Summertime and the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin', and the cotton is high
Your Daddy's rich and your Mama is good lookin'
So, hush, little baby don't you cry

Childishness Seeps In

Then the breakfast was Alfresco. We dined by the pool. I shook of little fat i took in for breakfast [tuna sandwich and orange juice] with a morning swim :). Then played Volleyball [Volleyball?] in the pool. LOL. It was dead fun.

I am addicted to the word rainbow. I don't know why. Whenever I go online and open a new Mozilla Firefox Browser, I get into Google's web and then type rainbow in the search bar. Sometimes, I even wonder whether anyone created a rainbow blog and I find out someone did. Click here for it. The Blogger is rather updated, but the last post was in 21th April. This blog description is the best blog description I have came across so far:

Child of the 1970s
teenager of the 1980s
college student of the 1990s
now in the 2000s
still trying to figure out
what I want to be
when I grow up

Wonder if I will still be like that when I grow up. Sigh. C'est La Vie. Everything happens for a reason. Wonder if readers [you guys] watched "The Twilight Zone" at 11pm on Friday- after Survivor. One man, he's life was going horribly wrong. He found out that everyone had a writer who write's everyones life. And his life particularly, went wrong. So he went to the Twilight Zone and saw his writer.

I am so glad that the writer in my life is Jesus and not some other gundu. Twilight Zone is nice anyway. I also found out that Jessica Simpson and Usher acted in the Twilight Zone before.

So yup, heres the end of my post.

Hot

It's now terribly hot. And its not even Summer. Okay, I know Singapore doesn't have Summer (or you could say its summer here all year long), but there are times in the year (eg. October, November, December, January) that is raining often and its cooler. April is not suppose to be a hot month. Summer in America officially starts in July.

I have entered 2 more entries for my blogged novel. I will let out the URL on my 5th post. I hopt to reach that post hopefully by tomorrow. Remember, any similarities to you or anyone else was unintentional. LOL. Actually it is lah...
